The Directorate General of foreign Trade (DGFT) is the agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India, responsible for execution of the import and export Policies of India. The DGFT is thus a regulatory authority that monitors foreign trade in India.
Entities in India which would engage in foreign trade are required to obtain the Import Export Code(IEC) by making an application to the DGFT. Further, such entities are to adhere to the foreign trade policies and procedures as may be prescribed by the DGFT. We offer compliance management services in this regard.
